Hoian fullmoon night This falls on lunar 14 every month - the day of the full moon. At night, Hoi An looks like a great stage, fanciful and briliant with colorful lanterns. Hoi An people wearing ancient clothes become actors in reciting poems, playing mah-jong and chess together. These activities relive the beautiful atmosphere of an ancient port with rural pleasures in traditional festivals.
From 6.00 p.m till midnight, the whole ancient town are quite, and no vehicles. Both travellers and regional people, Vietnamese and foreigners go for a walk together in the cosy atmosphere with unforgetable memories.

From the 16th to the 18th century, Hoi An was Vietnam\'s most important port and trading post, particularly in ceramics. Today, it is a quaint old town (844 structures have been designated as historical landmarks) still showing the influences of the Chinese and Japanese traders who passed through and settled here. Moreover, it's small enough to cover easily on foot. Wander through the historic homes and temples on a quiet Saturday afternoon, stop to lounge in an open-air cafe, gaze at the endless oddities and exotic foods in the market or take a sampan ride down the lazy river. In the afternoons when school is out, the streets throng with skipping children in spotless white shirts.

Tra Que is a charming little village on the edge of Hoi An, the village is named after the sweet scented vegetables that spice up the everyday meals of the Pho Hoi people. Here a new spirit for traditional Hoi An dishes like Cao Lau, Quang noodles, the local ‘Tam huu' spring roll (made from Tra Que vegetables) and cake with meat (Banh xeo) has been enlivened. Enjoy a cookery class with your host. Experience a day of living and working with the local people in Tra Que vegetable village, in which you will have a chance to discover the daily life of farmers.

Fishing Village Thanh Nam is shaped by the Thu Bon River. Fishermen have come here since time immemorial to cast their nets and catch prawns, crab and fish at the place we now call “Con Chai” (Fishing Dune). Go to the enchanting Thanh Nam Fishing Village, stay and work with the accommodating local people and learn how to catch fish in this traditional fishing area.

Lying 19 km offshore from Hoi An, the Cham Islands (known locally as Cu Lao Cham) feature beautiful seascapes and landscapes. During the 1960s, Cu Lao Cham was known as “Paradise Island”. Only 25 minutes by speedboat from Hoi An Town (Cua Dai Quay), it is perfect for a half day trip with snorkelling or a dive on some beautiful corals, a delicious seafood lunch on the island, or a walk along the "ecotour" trail  There are many other interesting attractions for visitors, including fresh seafood, traditional crafts, swimming and sightseeing. Recently important archaeological remains were found and these are now exhibited in a small museum near the main jetty.
